finished the book last Sunday - felt like task completed. Fell in love with Harry Potter after reading books 1 and 2 - Ok with book 3 and got a slight headache when reading book 4.
My reading habbit is that I would finish the book no matter how if I have read through more than 1/2 of it. So I continue. Borrowed the book from friend for book 5 and read the Chinese translation for book 6 - and the last one - paid >$200 for it
and was it good??......... should not be overly critical, as this is, afterall, a book for teenagers... but ... does anyone have similar feelings... how come the Dark Lord looked so stupid towards the end.... how could Dumbledore win the duel when his friend got the unbeatable wand?? why pushed Harry to be the only "hero" - even in Dragon Ball - Ng-hung could not do everything all by himself... why is it that at one time the sword of Gryffindor seemed indispensible for destroying horcrux but later, fang's tooth (or some creature's tooth??) could do... how can Harry be so sure that he is the only (or first) one that had defeated Draco after Draco had won the Elder wand's allegience, else, he would be in extreme dangerous by assuming that he was the new owner, and can Rowling create some more imaginative means to explain the stuff that was explained by the should-be-a-dream-or-some-magic conservation between Dumbledore and Harry.........
sorry to all Harry Potter fans, I used to be one, and I still think I love some of the characters (like Remus, Sirius, Weasley family (esp twin), Dobby, Luna, DA..... and books 1,2,3 and 6 are good.... but book 7 is really like 落雨收柴
