Last day - went to 西門町 after check-out and visited the "Taipei信和" ---- 萬年商業大廈 .... I think the travel book should never compare 萬年商業大廈 to 信和, it's at most a small mall opposite Fanling KCRC station with some 扭蛋 shops, a handful toyshops and that is. 永康街 would be more interesting.
I had hoped to find some 小丸子 figurines here, 泡湯了
Even 亞宗麵線 was not as delicious as before (it used to be a hawker stand and patronised by locals.) still ok, but not GOOD.
Went to 美觀園 for lunch. Not sure whether we had gone to the wrong shop - 
yucky!
Went back to Taipei station and went to K Mall. Hubby refused to visit 台灣故事館. (pls see引用, a blogger created very interesting 旅台blog) so we only visited the "mall" portion. The Gundam Base was interesting, though....

. I have been to Taipei many many times!!!) But already promised hubby that we would not visit Taiwan in the coming ten years. Could only buy books from Taipei from the web from now on la
