Though very very tired, still worked till 8:00 p.m. yesterday and have to work today. Hence, went to 蓮香樓 this morning to 搵返dd安慰, 蒸鱔, 牛肉腸, 馬拉糕 were as delicious as usual, the 咸水角 not as good, probably not enough 五香粉. But the overall performance of 蓮香樓 was good, as always. Alas, can't find 梅子排骨..... or else, my brunch would be perfect.
Then, went to my favourite stall to buy milktea. Was greeted by 蓮姐, 笑姐, 細佬 and 家姐 . the stall has become my second home in Central, not only are the food and tea good, the 人情味 there has been a near extinct element here in HK. I almost need not say anything to order and they remember what time you usu come, what dish or drink you usu have and who come with you and all that. Such kind of 人情味 has become very precious to hubby and me. May be, we should live in a small village where everybody knows everybody and not in a metropolitan - where people easily got alienated and the city is full of strangers.
