today - was supposed to be exercise day - it turned out that the exercise only lasted for about an hour .....
took the train to Biei 美瑛 and tried to got powered bicycles (not fully automated, just battery ASSISTED such that the uphill part would be easier to your leg) - as powered bicycles were not available, we resolved to take citybike - and went uphill - 
really hard work la ....
yes, this is today's picture .... the milk at Biei was not creamy... worrying that the lunch would also be not good, we rushed back to Biei Eki, took the next Norokko Train and went back to Farm Tomita .... met some tourists from HK who wandered about the snack shop and grumbled about the short menu
the short menu was soooo attractive to us that we went there a second time boh .. We took the recommended stuff (steamed potato, corn, spaghetti, and sausage on a bone) .... we of course had lavender ice-cream again also
we then went to Nakan Furano Station (first went to a supermarket just 1 small block from the Station Exit) and bought this --
Only 500 yen and very juicy ...then we rushed back to Sapporo (as hubby had to buy paint such that he could work on his newly bought toy on our way back to Tokyo), and then we rushed to Otaru 小樽 to have dinner at Kura Sushi (we literally ran there, fearing that the shop would close early...) - Kura Sushi was converted from a former warehouse - the sushi was really good
Hubby's comments about the water melon we bought: wow, it was far more delicious than the organic water melon you bought in HK
Would miss Furano and Biei .... as we think that we should not go there three summers in a row and should go elsewhere for a change, may be we could try to visit Hokkaido in Autumn and Spring next time ....... and as for next summer - may be a short trip to Japan plus another trip to XinJiang??
..... but anyway, Furano and Biei .... WE WILL BE BACK
