Day 9 - woke up with only one thing in mind - to go to 日光 to find Mr 澤本 to enjoy the best 鰻魚飯 we have ever tasted in Japan - how to get there? - go to the main street after you left Nikko Railway Station (for JR or Tobu) and walk around 30 minutes or take a bus and get off before 東照宮 - - its on the left hand side of the road if you are facing uphill - and you'll see this small shop

the menu was definitely one of the shortest we've even seen - hubby ordered the "double-decker" eel and I had the fine eel rice...., and the rice came with a eel liver soup

as we had some time left before we should head for Tokyo, we visited 東照宮, and 二荒山神社 - some世界文化遺産 at Nikko

must mention something about this - in 1997 - before we were married, hubby and I went to Japan with a friend and hubby and I took a photo under this tree - and then all friends said that hubby was either cursed/ intoxicated after taking the photo ......

then passed this shop - our favourite at Nikko - but the owner was away again (yes, Nikko really was a safe city, the owner did not even bothered to move his stuff inside ...

then visited friend's place in Harajuku - wow - a really nice place - and VERY EXPENSIVE..... but even after hearing what my friend said about the weird working style of Japanese (only took orders..... - and sought orders all the time),  still thought that working in Tokyo was wonderful - you got to have quality of life after work boh ---- provided you have TIme after work
