It's been > 1 year since I've got the chance to watch movie in a cinema. Went to AMC PP VERY EARLY this morning to watch Ratatouille - really - two thumbs up

 - Its an enjoyable movie and you'd hardly notice that the 116 minute movie time has gone when the movie is near its end.

The main character - Remy, is really adorable, and anyone who loves food should watch it - you'll find yourself (and/or your close friends) in the movie. Ego is also a very interesting character (the name itself tells you something) and I love the last critique he wrote about being a food critic - oh, how I'd love to be a food critic.

Of course, the usual tricks of Pixar - trying to overturn some of the traditions - Rat - a creature which would ruin one's apetite and regarded as food's enemy - is a real food lover and a gifted chef in the movie -and you should never set limits for yourself - even if everybody thinks you are a nobody (really having no-human-body)

 - add further flavour to this cartoon.

Just watching the movie makes you feel hungry - and after Ratatouille - we went to the Sun Street Chez Patrick to lunch . Was a bit worried about the food at Chez Patrick after reading some blogs .... it turned out that .... the food was good boh ....

this avocado paste - good (but would love it better if with a tiny bit of salt) - goes well with bread

the pork chop - a delighted surprise - the red wine sauce not only goes well with the pork chop but also brings the best out of the pork

chestnut cake is full of chestnut flavour and the warm chocolate is full of cocoa taste

good movie followed by good lunch - what else could one ask for??

... well, may I say that I want to go to France and enjoy good food in Provence and then go to Paris and have lunch at Le Cinq??

Bon Appetit!!!
